York County Coroner ID's Highway Suicide Victim

A York County man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while driving on Route 30 on Monday, as Daily Voice previously reported.

David Pellegrino, 37, of the 200 block of Fleetwood Drive in Red Lion, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the York County Coroner.

A father of two, Pellegrino had recently started a job as a Manager of Process Mining at KPMG, according to his Facebook page.

He had previously worked at Sinclair Broadcast in various roles since 2015. 

He had started his own business, BP All-Out of Balance on Purpose, in April and was posting about the business regularly on social media.

Why this thriving data scientist took his life so suddenly is unknown.

Hellam Township police continue to investigate the incident.

He is survived by his wife Paula, their two children.

Details on his memorial and funeral services have not been made public.
